However, the Pellicola technology has the potential to fundamentally change this assumption.

Pellicola can capture CO₂ and hold it as a solid at normal temperature and pressure. The solidified CO₂ can be transported safely, and when needed, it can be easily released and reused. The released CO₂ can even be used as a raw material for clean gasoline, a process that has been recognized in an approved patent.

With Pellicola, the previously essential components— • liquefaction facilities • high‑pressure tanks • energy for maintaining low temperatures • specialized transport ships

are no longer required. This makes it possible to transport CO₂ easily, even in small quantities, and at much lower cost.

As a result, CO₂ transport and utilization—once limited to large companies—can now be handled by small and medium‑sized businesses as well. Costs can be dramatically reduced, and the entire CO₂‑related industry is expected to undergo major transformation.

In short, Pellicola overturns the long‑held belief that CO₂ can only exist as a gas under normal conditions. By enabling CO₂ to be safely and cheaply transported as a solid, it lowers the barriers to CO₂ utilization and may reshape the industrial landscape.
